Before You Come In

Call (888) 570-4325 and we will book your complimentary consultation. Bring anything you already have: recent lab reports, a current medication and supplement list, and a rough history of when things started changing. If you have been told your results were normal, bring those too. They are often the most useful document in the room.

The Consultation

This one is free, and it is a conversation rather than an exam. You walk through your symptoms, your history and what you want to be different. Casey tells you which testing would actually answer the question and roughly what it involves. If this is not the right practice for what you need, she will say so.

Testing

Blood work is drawn in-house by appointment, so one trip covers both. Panels are chosen from your history, not from a template, and typically reach well past a standard annual draw: full thyroid function, hormones, nutrients, inflammation and metabolic markers.

The Results Visit

Results get their own dedicated appointment, because handing someone a printout is not a review. Every marker is translated into plain language: what it says, whether it matters, and what changes because of it. You leave with a written plan.

Follow-Up

Plans get adjusted. Re-testing confirms whether the change worked, and doses move accordingly. For patients driving in from out of county, most adjustments between re-tests are handled by phone so you are not making a fifty-mile trip for a five-minute conversation.

Paying For It

Zen Medicine is a cash-pay practice. Cash, credit card, HSA and FSA are all accepted, and direct primary care membership is available for patients who want ongoing primary care at a set monthly rate. You can still use insurance for outside labs, imaging, specialists and hospital care. Read the full question list if you want the details before you call.
